Your Own Work From Home Business Web Site

Having your own internet business would not be complete without your own domain name and website. If you want to make money online you need your own domain name and website.

Once you have your own website you can customize it to your own liking with advertising for other business opportunities and affiliate programs. You can even sign up for Google adsense and make money serving targeted google ads on your site. I was once making $200-$300 per month from Google adsenses alone.

There are thousands of affiliate programs and business opportunities on the web but one of my favorites is Global Domains Business Opportunity. With the Global Domains Business Opportunity you get your own domain name to build your own website along with tools to do it and you can make money from the business opportunity by referring others to the Global Domains business opportunity.

Once you have your own domain and website you will need to get it listed in the major search engines. If you do it right you won’t even have to submit your site to the search engines. They will spider it and find it without you or anyone submitting your site.

The key to getting listed is to make sure you have incoming links from other relative websites. E-mail other webmasters with similar content and ask for a link exchange. You can also write articles like this one and submit it to all the major article directories. Just make sure there is an active link in your article to your website. If you have incoming links to your web site the search engines will automatically find your website.

If all you are doing is promoting affiliate program websites, you will never get targeted search engine traffic from organic search listings because Google and the other major search engines will not list most affiliate program gateway pages. The only way to get organic search engine listings is to own your own domain name. Build your site with all of your affiliate program links strategically placed on your own website.

Once you have your own site up and running make sure to add content on a daily basis and get your visitors involved in the process of adding content as well. This can easily be done by adding forums, link exchanges, blog’s, and or a guestbook. There are several other ideas but those are the main ones being used today.

Persistence Is The Key To Internet Business Marketing Strategy

If there is one thing that I have learnt over the years marketing and promoting my work from home internet business website, it is that you will not be successful overnight.

Some of my internet business websites are almost 5 years old now, and I continually promote them through articles and link exchanges with other sites. The ups and downs I have seen in my traffic statistics greatly influences the amount of commissions I get from my sites. When there is a downturn it is down right depressing.

But after 5 years my persistence to keep going and try different things is beginning to pay off. I now receive targeted combined daily traffic in the hundreds of unique visitors. It is the targeted unique visitors that are buying products or services from my websites that pay me commissions on a monthly basis.

The majority of my traffic comes from the Google search engine. In order to get good search results from Google you need 2 major things. Good quality content and lots of incoming links from other sites. Both of these need to be done no less than monthly or even weekly. Sometimes it feels like your banging your head against a wall.

But there are some automated secret tips that I am using that appear to be working.

The first is to make use of RSS in order to serve fresh new targeted content on a daily basis. On my work from home internet business sites I use a PHP includes script from a cool little resource called Feeddigest Signing up for an account is free and easy. Once you have an account find RSS feeds from Google, Yahoo, or anywhere else were you can get good daily content relevant to your own. Enter the feed make some modifications then copy and paste the code into your website. Wala! Your feed will be updated daily and your websites content will change automatically every time the feed changes.

For reciprocal linking I am using a free PHP script called LinkXchangeFREE. You can download a copy from the following site. http://www.algirdas.com . I still manually approve all the links myself but it saves manually adding them to my site. And the pages that LinkXchangeFREE creates are all crawlable by Google and the other search engines.

In short, Persistence is the key to a profitable internet business website. Keep trading links and keep updating your content as often as possible and you will eventually get to were you want to be.

Are You Ready For The Next Global Depression

On February 2 2007 a group of scientist from around the world at a global warming and climate change summit in Paris announced that global warming is in fact happening at an alarming rate and that humans are at least 90% to blame due to emissions from using fossil fuels. They went on to say that a world of change is needed in order to curb global warming. The scientist also says that no matter what we do now, global warming will probably continue for centuries.

The major emitters like the United States, Canada and Great Britton are not in accordance with the Kyoto accord largely due to economics and the environment will continue to get much worse if the governments around the world do not take drastic action and make plans to cut green house gas emissions by as much as 1/3.

Prime minister Steven Harper of Canada has already said that cutting green house gasses by 1/3 is next to impossible and that complying with the Kyoto accord is not possible economically.

China one of the fastest growing economies in the world is being blasted by the international community for not doing enough to curb green house gasses. More gas guzzling automobiles are being introduced in China every day than any other country in the world and the demand for oil in China’s bustling economy is huge.

It is apparent that oil and gas consumption is the core of the problem. We have the technology today to go completely green with electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. There are also ways of producing green electricity to power our homes.

Governments around the world need to act now to save our planet even if it means plunging the global economy into a depression. This is why it is so difficult for government to cut green house gasses. Look at Canada’s economy. We have about a 3% growth rate. But if we take oil producing Alberta out of the equation our growth rate drops to less than 1%.

Oil and gas is fueling our economy and the world. Oil and gas is fueling our global warming woes. We need to make a choice now. Our climate, or our economy.

Create And Distribute Your Own E-books

I just recently created my very own e-book complete with links to my web site and other business opportunities that I am promoting. E-books can be given away for free. The more people that download your e-book the more traffic you will get to your site and or opportunity links. For an example you can download my FREE e-book from the following link.
